For over 30 years now Bumble and Bumble has been the salon of choice for celebrities and people of all sorts in New York City. The salon that first established its mark in 1977 quickly made an impact and has continued to do just that today.
After just a year of being in business, it was voted in the top 10 for salons in New York City in 1978. The salon rose to new heights in 1982 when it gave starlet Phoebe Cates a makeover for glamour. After a catastrophic fire burned down the salon in 1995, they had their grand opening in 1996 with much hope for the future. In 1998 the B. Band was launched in Milan and the accessory spread like a wildfire. It gained so much prominence that even Wall Street Journal wrote about the trend.
The 2000’s have been kind to Bumble and Bumble as well beginning with the launce of Surf Spray. This product alone collected a great deal of press and awards In 2002 Bb. U launched after 25 years of apprentice programs and seminars. It continues to be a great way for rising stylists to start their career.
Despite so many accomplishments and tremendous products being launched over the years, Bumble and Bumble has so much in store for the future. One can only wait in anticipation for what the company will release next.
